A form template can be set up to avoid the repetitive task of adding BMPs/Control Measures or certain areas that you inspect. Setting up the template will allow you to choose your frequency setting for the inspection, as well as, add any BMPs/Control Measures and areas that you will be inspecting for that inspection moving forward.
To set up your inspection form template, for this example we will set up the routine inspection form, click on the desired subsection (Stormwater: Routine Inspections) under the Records section of the Mapistry main page. The desired subsection box should change to a darker gray color.
Then click on the gear on the upper, right-hand corner of the Records section.
Then click on Create or Edit Template to set up or modify an existing form template.
Click on the form section you are setting up (ex. Current Control Measures) and then add a new Control Measure. Please note that a Control Measure may be called a "Best Management Practice" in other states.
After clicking on "Current Control Measures" you will be directed to the first control measure that is on the list, in this case, "Site Sweeping". You will see all the current Control Measures under the section.
You can add a new Control Measure or remove the displayed Control Measure by selecting one of the two options at the bottom of the page.
Clicking on "Add a new Current Control Measure", a new "Untitled" Control Measure will pop-up for you to fill in the Name/ID of the Control Measure.
When you start a new inspection, the added Control Measures will be automatically populated into your inspection form.
Reminder: You still need to view and click done for each Control Measure during the inspection process.
