Environmental Data Platform (EDP): Mapistry's Environmental Data Platform (EDP) is a system designed to collect and organize environmental data, perform calculations, send alerts, and generate personalized reports. With the EDP, you gain valuable insights to proactively and cost-effectively manage environmental compliance. It offers significant improvements over our previous log system, providing a better user experience and enhanced features for managing and analyzing environmental data. The EDP is flexible, making it easier to connect and analyze different data sets.
Log Fields: Log Fields are like columns in a data table. Each Log Field represents a specific attribute or category of information.
Resource Type: Resource Types are categories created within the Environmental Data Platform to help track and manage different types of resources. For example, generators can be a Resource Type, and each individual generator is considered a resource within that category.
Resource Properties: Resource Properties are similar to columns in a data table. Each Resource Property represents a specific attribute associated with a resource.
Conditions: Conditions are requirements that need to be met in order to complete a log. For example, if a site has multiple generators, each generator's hours and fuel usage must be logged.
Org-level: Changes made at the Org-level affect the overall format of log entries, formulas, resources, and permissions across the organization.
Site Specific: Changes made at the Site Specific level affect specific sites, including frequency requirements, views and aggregations, limits, site-specific resources, and permissions.
Site Configuration: Clicking the Site Configuration button when creating or editing a log allows you to access a site's specific settings, such as the frequency at which the log needs to be completed, and provides an overview of records and views.
Unit Aware: Mapistry's formula builder is designed to be unit aware, meaning it recognizes and considers the required units when setting up log fields and resource properties. This allows you to see the formula output as you enter it, ensuring accuracy and ease of use.
